Blasting your favorite CD, while flaunting old pajamas and using a hairbrush for a microphone AND feeling like a rock star all at the same time. It doesn’t get much better than that. When you hear a song that takes you back and can’t help but bust a move, don’t fight it. Even as adults, we are still allowed to act silly and let’s face it, you feel confident when dancing in front of the mirror. Your room is a safe place where you can act as ridiculous as you want without the fear of being judged by anyone else. Not only that, but if you are getting ready for a night out at the club and need to practice a few moves, the mirror is the perfect place to master those skills without making a fool of yourself.
I have not yet gotten to share my 15 minutes of fame on stage, so until then, I am perfectly fine with feeling like a superstar in my underwear at home – A feeling that I hope I never grow out of.
